The Archdiocese of Yaoundé recently came alive with joy and faith as young people from across the region gathered to celebrate World Youth Day (WYD). This vibrant event, marked by prayer, reflection, and fellowship, highlighted the dynamic role of youth in the life of the Church.
Our Sisters were honored to be present at this celebration, reflecting our deep commitment and active involvement in the youth apostolate. Through guidance, mentorship, and spiritual accompaniment, we continue to support young people in living out their faith fully and courageously.
The day was filled with inspiring activities, including moments of prayer, catechesis, and cultural presentations, creating a platform for youth to express their faith, talents, and aspirations. It was a true witness to the power of Christ’s love working through the energy and creativity of young people.
We congratulate the Archdiocese of Yaoundé for organizing such a meaningful event and remain committed to journeying with the youth, empowering them to grow spiritually, intellectually, and socially in their daily lives.
