On Wednesday, 1st April 2026, students of COBICEJ Secondary School carried out a touching act of charity as they visited patients at the Regional Hospital (CHR), sharing with them the fruits of their Lenten sacrifices.
Guided by the spirit of Lent—a season of prayer, sacrifice, and charity—the students generously offered food items and basic necessities to the sick, bringing comfort to those in need.
Beyond the material gifts, the visit was marked by moments of encounter, smiles, and heartfelt exchanges. The students took time to interact with the patients, offering words of encouragement, compassion, and hope. Their presence alone became a source of joy for many who are going through difficult moments.
For the students, the experience was deeply enriching. It allowed them to live out the true meaning of Lent by reaching out to others in love and solidarity. For the patients, it was a reminder that they are not forgotten, but cherished and supported.
This initiative stands as a beautiful testimony of faith in action, as the COBICEJ community continues to form young people not only academically, but also spiritually and morally.
